Toners are the bridge between cleansing and treating- they balance your skin's pH, sweep away any last traces of impurities, and prime your skin to absorb what comes next. Think of them as the primer coat before painting: skip it and the results aren't as good. Apply right after cleansing then move straight into your serums while skin is still damp.
